Sleepy owl found resting among items on a New York antique store shelf
Meanwhile, somewhere in the Bronx, a little orphan living under the stairs will never know he's been admitted to Hogwarts...

Wow. Just... wow.
It seems obvious to mention this scene. (I tried to set the URL so that the video would stop at 2 minutes and 30 seconds but that didn't work. You can just stop it manually at that time.)
Bringing up that scene seemed so obvious that I almost didn't mention it. But... you know, it's interesting. I never liked that scene before. I didn't understand why so many people loved it. It seemed like Jack-Jack - the baby - was just suffering delusions that he was doing a good deed by protecting his family's garbage from a bad guy. Jack-Jack didn't realize that the garbage was worthless.
But you know what? By scaring the raccoon off - presumably for the rest of its life - Jack-Jack really WAS protecting the home. Raccoons carry diseases. They make messes, both by bringing in trash and by defecating. It wasn't just preventing the stealing of garbage; Jack-Jack protected his home, which truly WAS a heroic act. And now the family doesn't have to call professional Pest Control people. Jack-Jack had done a real service. I had never thought of it that way before.
I could tell a few TRUE stories about our family dog protecting our home, often in ways that we didn't properly appreciate... but I'm getting off the topic.
