Channeling vs emergency force sphere

Rules Questions

High all. This is a dilemma that was house rules by a the GM with me playing a guest NPC villain that it was legal but I'd like to know if its RAW legal, RAI acceptable, or just a judgement call of GM. The situation is very simple, if you are sitting inside of or protected by the spell emergency sphere wall can you still channel inside the spell and its effects work OUTSIDE the sphere?

The rules clearly say that spells do not pass beyond the sphere except teleport, dimension door, or similar as it relates to you interacting beyond the barrier. At the same time gaze attacks get through it suggesting that some things interact, light for instance. So if we take channeling that is a divine power trying to harm or heal creatures, can the arcane even interact with it let alone stop it? Spells can be counter spelled but nothing I've even heard of In the game stops channeling.

Thoughts?

This will also be linked into another thread about the experience I had and seeking advice on how to adapt that situation to a viable group playing PC after a little bit.

Grand Lodge

Channel Energy inside an Emergency Force Sphere only effects anything inside the Sphere. Channel Energy requires Line of Effect to work, and that's blocked by Emergency Force Sphere.

No line of effect, no channel effect. Teleportation and the like only work because the target is yourself. You can channel and it will hit everyone inside the sphere, no one outside of the sphere.

What they said.
