Enlarge Person + Martial Flexability for Awesome Blow?

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

If you meet all the other requirements for the feat Awesome Blow except the Size Large requirement, can you use Enlarge Person to temporarily meet it for the purposes of selecting it with Martial Flexibility?

Grand Lodge

It depends on your GM. For example, for ability score increases, you've got to have it for 24 hours before it's permanent. Can you qualify for feats with temporary benefits?

I wouldn't have any problem saying you can get a temporary feat with a temporary benefit, but I'm not everyone.

I'd allow it. Awesome blow isn't much different than a bull rush anyway. I don't think it's a legal feat in PFS though, if you were thinking of using it there.

Grand Lodge

It is a legal feat in PFS, it is in the CRB.

Scarab Sages

Awesome Blow is on page 314 of the Bestiary. According to additional resources it is not legal for PFS.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Bestiary
Animal Companions: ankylosaurus, aurochs, brachiosaurus, dire bat, dire rat, dolphin, elasmosaurus, electric eel, elephant/mastodon, frog, goblin dog, hyena, monitor lizard, moray eel, octopus, orca, pteranodon, rhinoceros, roc, squid, stegosaurus, triceratops, and tyrannosaurus; Familiars: all familiars listed on pages 131-133; Feats: none of the feats are legal for play for PCs, animal companions, or familiars unless specifically granted by another legal source; Other: all creatures in this book are legal for polymorph effects (including a druid's wild shape ability) within the boundaries of each spell or ability's parameters. All languages found in this book are available for a character to learn with the linguistics skill, except aboleth and drow sign language.

Incorrect on both counts.

Grand Lodge

I thought I double checked that, apparently there is a typo on the D20PFSRD site and the Combat Feet list shows CRB, but no, it's in the bestiary and not the CRB. Oh well.

For the record, it is legal to qualify for feats based on limited time with the requirements.

There is somewhere a faq that a barbarian with a 12 str can take the power attack feat, but only use it while raging.

This would be an identical case, they can take the feat with martial flexibility provided they are enlarged, if the enlarge was dispelled they would lose the feat access.

Awesome Blow sounds like an 80's comedy, starring David Lee Roth.

Archivesofnethys has much fewer errors IME.

D20PFSRD usually doesn't mention the source if it's the CRB or the Bestiary 1

Or Charlie Sheen.
