Hi folks,
Had a look around at other classes - currently I play a Ranger level 5, very basic but just in the process of sexing up my MCL with an enchantment.
He has no charm though, and I find that I end up doing a lot of the talking for the group because I as a person can, but my character can't, but no-one else is stepping up. I don't really want to keep playing OC so much, so would much rather have a talky character for those social sessions where it's more important.
I quite fancy the look of an Inq, but really not sure which way to take it.
Anyone have any good suggestions for a build?
Ta muchly!

Inquisitors are a great class and very customizable... But they are not exactly versatile.
While a Ranger can build to switch-hit, an Inquisitor lacks the feats to spread his build focus too thin, and due to low BAB, he requires higher investment in each strategy as well.
So whatever you do, commit to it.
If I were you, I would start off with a classic Inquisitor, just so you can try it out better. Get high STR, moderate DEX/CON/WIS, don't dump INT, dump CHA hard. Get the Conversion Inquisition for the Thoros of Myr approach to proselytizing -- now you base Intimidate, Diplomacy and Perform (oratory) with Wisdom, allowing you to pump that in lieu of Charisma.
Use Medium Armor and a Shield.
If you go Human, you can pick up Intimidating Prowess and Judgement Surge at 1st level, going with a S16 D14 CON12 INT10 WIS15 CHA7 spread, putting your racial +2 to CON (health is a very precious resource to Inquisitors, due to lacking Evasion, good Reflex saves, DR or D10 hit dice).
The rest of it builds itself... Power Attack, Furious Focus (you graduate to a 2H weapon when you have Second Judgement to get both the AC and attack bonus when using it), Cornugon Smash, Signature Skill (Intimidate)...
