Hi folks, Had a look around at other classes - currently I play a Ranger level 5, very basic but just in the process of sexing up my MCL with an enchantment. He has no charm though, and I find that I end up doing a lot of the talking for the group because I as a person can, but my character can't, but no-one else is stepping up. I don't really want to keep playing OC so much, so would much rather have a talky character for those social sessions where it's more important. I quite fancy the look of an Inq, but really not sure which way to take it. Anyone have any good suggestions for a build? Ta muchly!
Hey folks, I've ran quite a few PFS games now on Roll20 and elsewhere, and I've never bothered to look into it any further. I've realised now that I should really be reporting games which apparently earns me GM rewards? I've looked but can't find any information. None of my players have been PFS registered so far, but it would be easy enough to achieve this. Any links or assistance appreciated.
Thanks for the time and effort to help on this - greatly appreciated. I like the look of Skirmisher, fits in well with my character (I meant not using any spells, he's all up for magic gear). I read through all the other Ranger classes and nothing else tickled my fancy. So Skirmisher doesn't get any benefits until 5th level - I take it that means I just stick as a standard Ranger class and then branch out at 5th? In terms of my stats, do you think I should take a minus to my Int to spend on Strength to get another +1 to my bow? Is there any way I can realistically jiggle them to get my Dex higher? Just really want to ace out shooting as much as possible. I've read that guide, it was really good, and now I'm looking at my core book it's making a bit more sense. I just thought my HP would have increased by a dice roll rather than just +1. Cheers!
Thanks guys. I've not levelled him since level 2, just not really been sure what to do. He's Human, and he has a Masterwork Comp Longbow for the benefits that brings. Roleplay wise, he's not going to touch magic as that's not his style. Not sure how it works for buying that kind of gear - we use Chronicle sheets so don't know if I'd need to wait for something like those to appear on that? Thanks for the help so far!
Hi folks. I've tried to make a rangery ranger. Good only for shooting stuff. He's just hit level four and apart from not having a clue how to level him up, I feel I could make him more rangery. Str: 12 + 1
Fort: 5 = 3 + 2
Bab: 2
Initiative: 7 = 5 + 2
Any hints? From a total re-roll perspective, what could I do to up that Dex? I have Point Blank, Rapid Shot and Precise shot with a Comp Masterwork Longbow. Ta!!!
Hi guys, Quick Q: Can anyone direct me to the best Level 1 character setup for a Ranger / archer type? Needs to be b~~@$&%s in melee, specialising purely in ranged so you have to keep him moving in combat to stay out of reach. Any advice greatly appreciated. I tried to make a char like that and cocked it up royally.
Hi, I'd quite like to buy all your map packs in this amazing sale, but as I'm in the UK the shipping comes to just shy of $50, which makes me wince as it's about eight map packs. Is there a cheaper shipping option available? I really want this stuff, but really don't want to fork that much out on shipping although of course I understand it's going to be somewhat pricey to the UK anyway. You don't have highly trained South African Swallows you could tie them to by any chance? |
