Circus Tricks

Rules Questions

I have a character whose back story involves being a circus performer. I recently stumbled on the rules for breathing fire using kerosine. Thematically awesome, but it does a measly 1d3 damage. I've been trying to think of ways to make this a useful tactic.

Could I splash an enemy with lamp oil and use this to ignite him? Lamp oil works like alchemists fire if you put a fuse in it, but fails to ignite 50% of the time. Would this be a more surefire way of lighting it, or less? Would it work at all?

i wuold say it would not have only 50% but 100% if it deal fire damage(maybe add a ref save to avoid cathing on fire). reason is, as i see it the 50% of not igniting whne throwing the "molotov" is that sometimes the fuse gets extingwish from the throw. or the oil splash one way and the fuse an other. but apllaying fire to oil should work automaticly.
