Aberration or Ooze companions?

Advice

Very simple question. I can't seem to find any way to get any sort of super weird companions. I really just want a pet ooze or something with a lot of tentacles. Any idea how to get something along those lines? I know there are plenty of weird improved familiars though i would prefer an actual companion

The closest is this without going into 3rd party.

Try being a summoner? :P

Sorry. Aberrations are about as far from "druid" as you can get. What Missingno posted looks pretty nice, though.

Nah, but they're pretty close. The farthest would probably be undead since their auras cause animals to f$#%ing run away.

If you want tentacles, squid & octopus are allowed. Not great options in most circumstances though.

There are druids with undead and ooze empathy abilities, though. Ain't yet seen aberration empathy. ;D

I think I saw that cartoon when I was a kid. A prehistoric family had two ooze-like buddies, in addition to various dinosaurs.

Let's see... take an ooze, make it clever, using a specially-researched "awaken" spell, and don't forget to make it loyal, so that it doesn't inadvertently caresse you to death, just out of general enthusiasm.

Sounds like something a broad-minded DM just might allow you to houserule into existence, though he might have fun enforcing delicate or awkward pet moments.

Just imagine the cute ooze videos you could post on DruiTube!

Herculoids. The ooze creatures were Gleep and Gloop.

To the OP: If you want creatures with tentacles to follow you around, have you considered playing a schoolgirl?

I like the primal companion class as I like most classes with interesting companion rules. Its just not quite what I want.

Haha yeah i remember the herculoids. I need to be a pack master with two oozes, a dragon, a modified rhino, and a rock gorilla.

Hmm I would love some sort of Alchemist archetype with an alchemical ooze as a companion that you can customize and bombs that do acid damage. I may just try and homebrew a class. Or maybe a druid class based on cthulhu mythos cultist with an abomination companion.

The Council of Thieves AP introduced the torble as a familiar option, I believe, in the first chapter's bestiary. A jellybean slug-looking thing. Might be worth looking at.

EDIT: My bad. Torbles are actually vermin that kinda look like oozes.
