Hey guys. I am trying to figure out how to role-play my character. There is a distinct difference between how I want him to be and how he actually seems to be. I want him to be a very charismatic Duelist slightly inspired by Captain Jack Harkness from doctor who. Now how he comes off as is a stupid impulsive failed conman who is obsessed with being an Aldori swordsman. I guess what I am looking for is some stuff I can do like cons I could pull off things I could say to reconcile the image in my head with what I am actually playing.
Oh yah I forgot to say. He is a rogue 2 and planning to multiclass at 5th or 4th level as a fighter.
The cons and that kind of things is somthing you need to have a chat with the GM about. The part about being a duelist that works is most likely a build thing. I suggest that you talk it over with the GM and see if you can have a bit of spotlight as a con man and make a gentleman agreement with the GM that it is a thing for plothooks and fun and not about Breaking the WBL.
