A question on multiple attacks and what may be done between them.

Rules Questions

Say I have 6/1 BAB. I attack a thing with my first attack, it dies. I am now standing there in the middle of a Full attack with an extra attack. What are my options?

I'm pretty sure Im allowed to:
A) do NOTHING
B) attack another creature in range?

But what about taking free actions before I attack?

For example, I make a full attack with my scythe on said creature, it dies. Could I take the free action to "stop wielding" my scythe now holding it in one of my hands, draw a hand crossbow, this being another free action thx to quick draw, and shoot someone.

Is that possible? I'm not real familiar with having multiple attacks per round from BAB and I'm also desperately trying to find a way to incorporate a hand crossbow into a character I'm working on. :P Plus this sort of thing would probably just be useful to know.

Grand Lodge

A and B are absolutely yes.
Dropping your scythe - yes.
Drawing another crossbow as a free - yes with a qualification I'll make at the end.
Using your crossbow to attack as an iterative - yes.
Also, you can five foot step before, after, or in the middle of a full attack.

Qualification - There is no specific limit on number of free actions you can take in a round. It is one hundred percent GM discretion on what is reasonable (after 1). So while one GM may think it perfectly reasonable that someone drop as a free and then quick draw (as a second free) and fire, another GM may disagree. Here YMMV.

Well that is good to know. I appreciate the input. :)

Also you're able to stop your full round and pretend it was just a standard actions.

Deciding between an Attack or a Full Attack

After your first attack, you can decide to take a move action instead of making your remaining attacks, depending on how the first attack turns out and assuming you have not already taken a move action this round. If you've already taken a 5-foot step, you can't use your move action to move any distance, but you could still use a different kind of move action.
