The Baddest of the Bad. Bestiary Hunt for the biggest, baddest monster. (Monster Mash Arena!)

Hey folks, I was wondering if anything like this has been done.

I want to make a ranking system of the biggest, baddest, strongest/scariest monsters in the bestiary using paizo and any other official/3pp (non deity level) monsters, and straight from the book CR.

obvious contenders are-
Ravener
Pit fiend
Tarrasque
Solar

but my bestiary knowledge is limited and so I seek others!

atm, I just want a good top 10-15 of the scariest monsters in the book (mechanically speaking)

maybe one day we will make a list of the top 10 strongest monsters in the beastiary for each CR, (or at least, a range of CRs) but for now, let's just focus on the baddest of the bad :p

To do this I would like to set up monster battles, as of now.

we have the above monsters, they need to battle it out in a series of 1v1s to determine their ranking.

Ravener vs Solar
Ravener vs Tarrasque
Ravener vs Pit Fiend

Pit fiend vs Solar
Pit Fiend vs Tarrasque

Solar Vs Tarrasque

[Kobold Catgirl]

Pugwampi

[Haskul]

Shock Lizards.

[Bob Bob Bob]

What counts as diety? Because Cthulhu exists. Ditto Hastur. Also Godzilla (aka Mogaru) and a couple other Kaiju.

fair vs each other. This is to find out who the top dog is.

I'd say anything with a CR of 30+ is deity level. so kaiju are in (didn't even know about those) Cthulu.... is in. Why the hell not.

I think Paizo tops out at 30, and I think that so far Cthulu is on top.
Also how do you account for monster X just having the right features to beat monster Y, but also falls hard to a monster that monster X can defeat most of the time?

Fun fact: Cthulhu has no way of harming ghosts outright. So Mr. Big Bad CR30 can't actually kill a CR2 Poltergeist. (The only thing I can think of that *may* work is summoning Star Spawn and then having them use their gate, but I am unsure if gate's calling effect lumps it in with the summons can't summon rules.)

Not that the poltergeist can harm Cthulhu, but that's beside the point...

make a brackets of sorts.

If monster x beats every other monster, but loses to monster y, that lost to other monsters, then it ups monster y, but monster x is still on top because he whoops others.

I don't think there is any real situation for this though. Bar Ravener vs Solar.
