So I was casually glancing through my various binders which each contain the paperwork for one of my PFS characters and discovered that one of them has a hefty chunk of gold saved up. While it may be a while before I get to play her again (and thus actually buy anything), I figure some thought wouldn't be a bad thing.
I believe I was saving up for a big purchase but couldn't decide on what, which is why it is so high (in my mind) for her level. So here I am asking for advice on what I should look into.
Fighter 4, Brawler 1
Chaotic Good worshipper of Cayden Cailean and member of the Grand Lodge faction
STR 16
DEX 16
CON 14
INT 10
WIS 12
CHA 10
Feats: Quick Draw, Two-Weapon Fighting, Toughness, Point-Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Double Slice, Improved Unarmed Strike, Weapon Focus (Glaive-Guisarme)
Traits: Observant, Reactionary
HP: 49
AC: 19
Init: +5
FORT: +8
REF: +6
WILL: +2
Weapons:
MW Cold Iron Glaive-Guisarme (Primary)
MW Composite Shortbow (STR +3)
+1 Battle Aspergillum
MW Cestus
MW Throwing Axe x2
Scimitar
Armor:
MW Agile Breastplate
Wonderous Items:
Efficient Quiver, Sleeves of Many Garments
Other Items of Note:
Wand of Cure Light Wounds (48/50)
Potion of Cure Light Wounds x2
Holy Water x2
Thunderstone x2
Arrows x17
Cold Iron Arrows x20
Old Law Whiskey x1
Concept is essentially a swiss-army-knife with ridiculous number of weapons at her disposal. At long-range, she uses her Composit Shortbow to pepper enemies with different kinds of arrows. When things get closer, she gibs enemies with her Glaive-Guisarme. Any closer and she whips out a couple appropriate melee weapons, though her go-to choice is double Throwing Axes incase range opens up again.
She loves to drink and enjoys offering booze whenever appropriate (or not). I don't know if it's because of this, or just that the dice find it funny, but she does not fare well with ladders, ropes, pits, or ledges. Even with just a 10ft drop, she always lands on her ass.
She left her family of nobles to become a soldier and later joined the Pathfinder Society. There she met a young man whom she took under her wing to hone his fighting skills. At the same time, his rough style rubbed off on her. Despite being 8 years older than him, she has developed romantic feelings for him, though she can't bring herself to tell him until she can stand next to him as an equal. (My first PFS character is a 19yo Sorcerer 4, Fighter 1, Dragon Disciple 2)
Ionna has 8265.05 gp saved up. Should she go for the Scabbard of Many Blades like she had originally intended? Should she get heavier armor or magicify her current set? Should she finally enhance her Glaive-Guisarme?
Or should she look to other items to spend her gold on? These are the questions I'd like advice on. This is not a thread asking for build advice! I am quite happy with what she does, thank you.

Well, while you are not asking for build advice, one detail does have a major effect on the equipment advice- are you planning for a second brawler level?
Because, if you are, then that means you only need a single cestus (since brawlers can fight with just a single weapon). That saves on cost...which might be major for you (with three fighting styles and all)

I'd look at a different special material for my main weapon since Cold-Iron doubles enchantment cost. Honestly, adamantine is probably the best choice here. Cloaks of Resistance/Pale Green Ioun stones are also pretty necessary fighter items.
That is a 3.5 rule. PF has it as a constant '+2000' on the normal cost.
So double early on, just a slight tax later. Still double price for the base weapon (I can't remember if that includes masterwork cost or not; typically that is considered a separate component)
| K-kun the Insane |
My Inventory Tracking Sheet says it cost 324 gp, so that would be double base-cost plus Masterwork. To make it a +1 weapon would cost 4000 gp (2000+2000), then another 6000 gp (8000-2000) on top of that to make it +2, and so on and so forth.
So I could afford to enhance it once and still have 4265.05 gp left

You're totally right, though I had reversed the enchantment cost and the construction cost (was thinking the construction was a flat cost like adamantine). Oops.
Still all told I would suggest an adamantine weapon over a Cold Iron one. (I'd keep the cold iron around for DR for a while though)
Adamantine:
Bypasses hardness up to 20
DR/Adamantine
Weapon enhancements give Cold Iron and Silver at +3, but adamantine at +4.
With the current season of PFS, I'd say hardness comes up more than DR/Cold Iron.

Of course, adamantine is typically the superior weapon, and its use is not made obsolete by enhancements, since it still has superior hardness and ability to ignore most hardness.
Cold iron is something you keep around as a golfbag until you get a +3 weapon. Maybe keep a non masterwork cold iron dagger and silver mace around as a 'just in case' kind of deal on the off chance of losing your weapon or something.

Doesn't the Pale Green Prism Ioun Stone cost 30 000 gp?
The Vial of Efficacious Medicine is not in any of the books I own, and so is unfortunately unavailable to me.Swarmbane Clasp would've been nice in the scenario before the last in which she could do nothing to the swarm of leeches in the water and could only shoot at the giant leech until it dropped and then wait for the others to handle the swarm...
Since she already has a +10 Perception already, the Eyes of the Eagle or Lenses of Detection would make up for the fact that she can't see in the dark.
The Boots of the Cat and Slippers of Spider Climb would be nice to counter her habit of landing on her ass.
The Mithral Fullplate in combination with the Sash of the War Champion sounds like fun, too...
Hmm, would the Blinkback Belt be worth the lack of a physical belt?

Pale Green Prism is 4k for the cracked version (+1 competence bonus to attacks or saves you choose at time of purchase) 28k for the flawed version +1 morale bonus on attacks, saves, and skill checks. 30k for a +1 competence bonus on attacks, saves, and skill checks. The 4k version for saves is the only one that is really worth it IMO.
Vial of Efficacious Medicine is in the Alchemy Manual, and is awesome but maybe not worth the purchase of an entire book.
Swarmbane is a pretty nice item (I have it on most if not all my full martials). (And yes I know that scenario.
As for the blinkback belt, I've never seen someone make use of it. But if it works for your concept/build then it works.

Yes, it is also the ONE time where she didn't fall on her ass. In fact, folks above her fell and she hung on to watch as THEY landed on their asses below! Best part of the whole scenario.
Which would be better, a pair of +1 Returning Throwing Axes or a Blinkback Belt?

How's your utility belt, Batgirl?
I only ask because you're reaching the point in PFS play where having various movement options such as swim and fly speeds matter as well as having protective remedies and problem solutions available besides healing. Investing 3k in consumables should be more than sufficient in supplying your utility belt.
Personally, I would value this over any immediate upgrades if you have not built your utility belt yet.

You might consider a variety of Pole arms. I like Horsechopper and Lucerne hammer. Both are reach weapons. the Horsechopper is Slashing, piercing, and Tripping and does 1d10. The 'hammer is blunt, piercing, and Brace and does 1d12. Since the Lucerne hammer is does blunt damage, you can get it in Alchemal Silver with no damage penalties.

You back up your a cold iron Morningstar with Oils of Magic Weapon.
Swarmbane clasp and golembane scarab are nice for taking on foes with specific defenses against melees. However, I believe there are blanches you can use for adamantine as well, so unless you really like the thought of chewing through doors and walls, you can probably hold off on the adamantine.
In all honesty, the clear spindle stone + Wayfinder's prot/evil effect is likely the best defense you are going to have against enchantment/charm effects and should be your #1 buy.
So, there's my advice. A cold iron morngingstar, with Oils of Magic weapon +1.
Swarmbane Clasp.
Ioun Stone, Clear Spindle, + Wayfinder to offset most evil Will Save spells.
For now, a couple adamantine blanches in case you need it to punch DR, and whatever weapon of your choice.

Potion of Fly
Elixir of Spirit Sight (you don't have this one available, it's from an AP, but I was typing a list as I thought of them)
Snapleaf
Oil of Daylight (or an object with heightened continual flame)
Arrows with a number of blanches (I prefer buying cold iron arrows then blanching, Ghost Salt and Silver are both nice and work better on Ammunition than on weapons which are 1 hit rather than 10 arrows)
Oil of Align Weapon
Bead of Newt Protection
Antitoxin/Antiplague
Silk rope and grapple arrows
Air crystals
are all pretty useful cheaper (50-1000 gold) items to have around in case of emergency
