a friend of mine just used this stat blocked baddie against a party of 5 level 5th pcs and almost wiped them out...lol i always tell him conversions can kill. would you consider this a cr5 encounter?
the full-attack combined with it's abilities seem super crazy
thoughts?

DISPLACER BEAST? I BARELY KNOW ER
I don't see how it has 4 claw attacks...
Resistance to ALL ranged attacks seems exaggerated, why does it reduce damage from bullets or splash weapons?
Anyway, this looks on par with a Troll, so I'd classify it as CR6.
yeah, quietly stealth and dropped wizard in back of party. it then went full round action vs the paladin. my friend playing the paladin said it was like being in a blender..lol i asked him why did he let it do full round actions on him?(backup, withdraw, take aoo to make it move/attack) and he replied that he was down 75% of hp after one round and grabbed. after battle the pcs found out it was a cr 5 encounter and a conversion too...they were all bummed but happy they were alive
conversions kill.....
