So what is the player based reaction/feedback?

Not going to be able to play till later today... Is this launch smooth like EE5 or rocky like EE4? :)

Rocky.
Vaults are buggy, you can only use them in your home settlement or NPC settlement.
Have fun working out the permissions, I had to give everyone full access to all and then work backwards, that seemed to work.

Now going to go out into the wilderness and try and find those recipes I still need to level my chars.

The home and NPC settlement thing is not a bug, that was stated to be intended. I think they said it'll expand to allied settlements when they introduce that system in EE7.

A bug is caping training for feats at lvl 9. Maybe the server needs to register the towers during next maintenance ?

@ G&S,

It is a bug, as you can't access personal vaults in other PC settlements. That was supposed to apply only to company vaults.

Also, you can't access training facilities is other PC settlements.

That's a devastating bug.

e.g. most people banking in Keeper's Pass are not settlement members.

Oh, I assumed he was referencing only the new vaults, never-mind then.

Okay - here is how far I have tried:
Vault - took me a while to sort that one out. You have Recruit, Soldier, Craftsman, Officer and Leader level - promoted everyone I know at least to Soldier, the main crafters to craftsman and 2 members to officers - will await players telling me 'Why didn't you promote me and why did you promote x' - well - can always change it - but hadn't prepared ahead and don't even know all 47 members whom they belong.
Vault is 3 large steps forward - communal access, able to set individual access, company and secure vault.
Vault is 2 steps back - seemingly no access outside your own settlement to any vault (even private) and you no longer can filter raw materials, etc. So you have one HUGE list - especially annoying for a bankbot / company vault.
Additional settlement information
Step forward - it shows 7 towers, settlement level 11
Step back - well - training is capped at rank 9 despite it showing settlement level 11 - not sure why it displays one number but uses a different one - maybe needs a server downtime to update?
Current Achievement points
Great step forward - shows 169 adventure, ... for Thod - all in all some 300+ points for Thod that I wouldn't calculate

Other
I hear rumours it is easier to die - will test but haven't been out yet.

I would suggest no-one put any T3 recipes or level 5 spells in a settlement or company vault just at the moment :D

If you want to experiment use Tansy Leaves :D

I can only see Company Vaults at present and did some playing around with it but they don't seem to work for everyone at present.

Ryan did just post in the Goblinworks forum that there is something going on with Settlement features that they will be looking into a fix for either tomorrow or Saturday.

Clarification: I could acess the actual trainers, but not the crafting buildings.

Personally, I'd prefer company banks by default working in all settlements but access auto-denied to feuding/warring companies (and long term giving settlements the option to restrict banking right)

The Auction Houses are also glitchy today. You can see what items are for sale, but you can't see the asking price for each one, so you can't buy them.

The new Rogue role abilities are fun. Distraction acts like Feint for both melee weapons and ranged weapons (50% chance to cause Flat-Footed). The Trick attacks all trigger from Flat-Footed, with various effects depending on the weapon used.

didn't played since update, but checking on the goblinary (thanx guys btw...), it seems that the new fighter strikes don't have keywords ... so, no damage scaling ?

Several crashes to desk top, in span of 15 minutes for myself and Goodfellow.

A bug on death that asks if you want to respawn, but when you do, nothing happens and health remains at 0.

Haven't tried company vaults yet, because we are consolidating companies prior to the April 1 date.

For the half hour I played, nothing new or more engaging, sad to say. Hopes are EE7 brings more.

Some more bits:
There are some new animations during fighting
Also come other changed graphics (trainers, peasant clothes) that look more smart
I can confirm the issue on death (if you spawn in a different hex) that it asks if you want to respawn but the only way out seems quit and restart. It does work if you spawn in the same hex.

So you can clearly see progress - but some bits hamper that and off course the large bit coming isn't in yet - influence and outposts.

Thanks for the feedback on the Goblinary. Kitsune and I have put in a lot of hard work there, and it's really awesome to hear that folks like it.

When you say "the new fighter strikes don't have keywords", I think you're talking about attacks like Dagger Vital Strike or Greatsword Penetrating Strike. Not to get too technical, but the main reason they're not showing Keywords right now is because I didn't get them properly linked to the Advancement data. Most of the time, that linking is easy because the Feat data and the Advancement data have the same key (the Feat name). These new Feats work more like the Basic Attacks mapping.

Stephen has suggested he will give us a new column to make this mapping easy.

Note that I did throw you another curveball with how the new attacks are tracked (e.g., all [Weapon] Penetrating Strike attacks are bought by the Penetrating Strike advancement). I may need to give you our feat XP link column as well now that this multi-feat advancement applies to more than just the basic attacks and exploits.

In the meantime, I'm going to take a "best guess" as to what those mappings are so we can do a fresh data load for the Goblinary.

Looks like this isn't going to work. The Advancement data seems to be completely missing for the new Attacks. I've asked Lee to add that data to the spreadsheets, and I've asked Stephen about the mapping column he mentioned.

Hopefully, we'll be able to get this resolved soon.
