I was looking at the description for greater vital strike and noticed something. It says to roll damage from a single attack four times. Pummeling style essentially gives multiple rolls for the same attack. So lets say a monk at level 20 flurries and does not use a ki point. Lets say he hits with three attacks. thats 6d10 plus whatever his modifiers are. Could someone apply vital strike to the single attack from pummeling style that is doing 6d10 for a total of 24d10 plus bonuses. Adding a crit on tip of that for 28d10. Can someone let me know if this would not stack or if it has been FAQ'D anywhere?

One of the reasons people don't like Vital Strike is that the answer to "does Vital Strike work with..." is almost invariably "no."
Vital Striking pretty much has to be done on its own, so if you take vital strikes, do not take full-round fighting options like Pummeling Style, Spring Attack, Two-Weapon Fighting, and so on.

It sucks though as I thought I found some sort of way for a monk to exploit their only schtick. What with their multiple attacks going into one and high damage dice. Would have really put monks up with other martials.
IMOP pummeling style puts monks on the map in a Way that they havent been before. Getting 4 attacks on a charge at level 9 is amazing and the extra chance for crit makes it GREAT.
But it locks them in using one style so it is still not the proper fix. If you ask me.
