Paralysis and Metamagic

According to the rules for paralysis you cannot take any physical action. With a metamagic still and silent spell(magic missile for example) could you cast while paralysed.

As far as I am aware, yes.

If the spell does not require a material component then yes, unless you have eschew materials. Hopefully no expensive material component is needed.
