I just want to check that the only reason for adding the +4,+4,+2,+2,-2 attribute mods in step 2 of adding class levels, (Bestiary p297), is to convert from the 10/11 array used in the monster entries. Am I right in saying that you shouldn't add them if you are already altering the underlying base rolls and adding the racial modifiers?
For example: A maxed out 1st level Ogre Barbarian would have a strength of 28, (18+10), rather than 32, (18+10+4). Correct?
