We decided on the fly to start these AP tommorow night. I am limited on time between now and then so I dont have alot of prep period. Just looking for a few quick suggestion as to something to play that fit the campaign and be useful.
Anything with fire spells will do. A druid will also do nicely. And characters with ranged attacks and bows (especially at first).

A gunslinger would be given a wet sloppy kiss later in the campaign - it won't be 'til you're past 10th level, mind you, but the kiss will leave your toes tingling. ;)
Paladins who accept the need to go undercover while deep in enemy territory also work well. As would a Ranger. Oh, would a Ranger! (Stalkers and Slayers from the new class guide also work well.)
Actually, Barbarians also have some good potential in the game.
Mostly it depends on your tastes and what your fellow players are taking. There will be areas of the AP where diplomacy and bluffing works quite well, so if there's no Face character, then you might consider a Rogue, Investigator, or a high-charisma class.
