Spirit Master Monk with Tenacious Survivor Feat

Rules Questions

At level 5 a Spirit Master gains Diamond Spirit

What I'm looking at is this phrase:

"When the spirit master gains a negative level, he does not take any penalties, his total hit points remain unchanged, and he is not considered lower level for the purpose of level-dependent variables."

Would Tenacious Survivor and this ability work in conjunction? Continuously dying and being brought back with a negative level that basically doesn't exist?

Thanks.

Anybody?

I don't see why it wouldn't. He's benefiting from Tenacious Survivor's ability to be healed back to life, and then, due to his class feature telling negative levels to buzz off, he's perfectly fine.

As far as I can tell, nothing in the Diamond Spirit overrides the fact that you die when your negative levels equal your level. You just take no penalties until you reach that point.
