So last week I saw something on cable about some terrifyingly large prehistoric snake (45-ish feet long). The next morning I started thinking about having a giant snake crush the bejeezus out of a fire giant, and that was good for a chuckle.
Has anyone given the ACG hunter class a whirl using a constrictor snake as their AC? Any special build considerations you had to make? If so, I'd love to hear how it worked.

I've never had an animal companion, but this sounds like fun. I'd be tempted to go with a theme and get a viper familiar, rod of the python, iron cobra gauntlet, etc. A snake for every situation. :)
