2000gp plus 10gp/scenario for the spellcasting service.
Great suggestion, but I think he intends to use the spell to give his animal companion reach, and thus it has to come from a pet lovers spell list:
The druid may cast a spell with a target of “You” on her animal companion (as a touch range spell) instead of on herself. A druid may cast spells on her animal companion even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the companion's type (animal). Spells cast in this way must come from a class that grants an animal companion. This ability does not allow the animal to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells.

You are correct. I'm using the mantis as a mount, and I'm using outflank and pack flanking. Want to get that +4 flank bonus with my lance but I need the mantis to threaten 10'.

Can you post your build please? Can I assume, that your character is small? If so, improved spell sharing to enlarge your mount, while your sitting on it (and getting enlarged too) should work.
We are both medium.
Human verminous hunter
Str15 including +2 from human
Dex12
Con12
Int13
Wis14
Chr14
Feats
undersized mount
outflank (free 2nd lvl)
combat expertise
pack flanking (free 3rd lvl teamwork feat)
Mantis companion
sacked human bonus feat for "eye for talent" to give it +2 int so it knows the necessary mount tricks.
First two levels, had to cast ant haul so it could fly carrying me. It has the shoulder slot feat and is now wearing muleback cords.
When I get to 7th lvl and it becomes large, I will cast reduce animal on it when size is an issue.
Just looking for a way for it to attack when I charge with a lance, and to threaten 10' (when it's medium) so I can get that +4 flanking bonus. The eventual addition of precision damage from both of us (precise strike), will be awesome. 10' reach also allows me to attack flying out of melee range.
It can't wear longarm bracers because it can't activate them. Can't cast long arm on it because it's not a druid or ranger spell. Evolved companion is not pfs legal so the reach evolution is out. Just wondering if there is a magic item, feat, or racial trait, that can add long arm to my spell list, or a single level dip into a class (archetype) that gives long arm and an animal companion.

If you put an ability adjustment into Int, bringing its total Int to 3, you can have it take the Lunge feat, though it won't be available until level 9.
If it wasn't a vermin companion you could get scrolls of Animal Growth.
You could talk someone in your group to play a Brown Fur Transmuter and get him to cast Long Arm on your Mantis once in a while.
:) Of course, by the time any of these options come online, the Mantis will be large sized and get reach anyways.
