I'm asking regarding PFS.
I'm primarily hoping to use Mend to repair the character's gun should it misfire, but I saw the Arcane Bond 1st level benefit of the Arcane Bloodline and had the thought that I could choose the gun as the bonded item.
Is my thinking correct?
If yes, would that prohibit me from using mend since the misfired gun is now "broken" and an Arcane Bonded item prevents the use of spells until the item is repaired?
If your bonded item has the broken condition you can still cast spells with it. It's only if it's destroyed that you can't.
And yes, you can use a gun as your bonded item if you want.
