Evangelist from the Cleric Class Deck has no Divine trait

I wonder is this intentional?

I just managed to save her from the Black Magga and thought that she could help Kyra to heal her companions. My Kyra had Father Zantus with him to help with the healing, if we are doing well, she could discard him to heal with her ability and get Father Zantus back to her deck with later heals instead of burying him.

I thought that Evangelist would be helping her along the Father Zantus in her healing efforts but no...

Evangelist does not have the Divine trait 'cos shes not unique, or she not experienced enough as a cleric? Her abilities seem to be quite good though.

I don't recall any allies having the Divine trait. I know that Poog is a cleric but no Divine trait.

Edit: I see Zantus has the Divine trait. And now I recall a thread somewhere asking why Poog doesn't and Mike saying that wasn't a mistake. Father Zantus is just more imbued, I guess.

Ok, I remember reading that thread also, but I also remember reading that some cards did not have the required keywords.

So this just means that Father Zantus in an unique character and more powerful than than this unnamed evangelist...

It is interesting that in RotR the two character's with the Cleric trait (Father Zanthus and the Shaman) both have the Divine Trait but all the Clerics in SS (Besmaran Priest, Sandara Quinn and Dindreann) do not.

Wonder if there was a change in approach... especially with Alahazra's ability to recharge Divine cards to examine locations.

Poog is an RotR outlier in that he has the Clerc trait without Divine but he's also a promo card.

There was. We phased it out on allies because there were lots of cards (Alahazra, for example) that used Divine cards as fuel that made no sense when they were also burning certain allies but not others. So we stopped doing that.
