If a monk wears gauntlets does he do his normal unarmed damaged since gauntlets are listed under unarmed weapons? if yes then can he enchant them?

To answer your question anyway, the short answer is no. You're either using the gauntlet or your kung fu fighting, not both. The item you want is the amulet of mighty fists, which will give your strikes the enhancement bonus or magical property you're looking for.
