Are red dragons and other creatures with fire resistance subject to other heat related environmental effects?
Under lava it states
Immunity or resistance to fire serves as an immunity or resistance to fire, lava or magma. A creature immune to fire might still drown if completely immersed in lava
But there is no similar clause under Heat dangers. Technically a red dragon is fine dog paddling in a lava pool but still gets fatigued on a hot summer day.

isn't this a classic example where common sense should apply. Failing that isn't there a quote somewhere about devs not holding our hand though every little thing (essentially).
If you are immune to fire, you are immune to heat and heat based environmental effects. Same with cold.
Common sense works for home games, or should for most home games, but with PFS sometimes you need things to be spelled out, or it doesn't work. In fact in numerous scenarios my Aasimar had to roll against environmental effecs because it doesn't explicitly state that resistance is equal to or better than endure elements. In fact most GMs just used the "there's a spell for that, so you have to use it" defense. Without the FAQ, it's kinda hard to argue against.

Can you make a ruling about the effectiveness of cold/fire resistance and evironmental dangers of heat and cold? Does cold/fire resistance negate the dangers of cold/heat? Does it reduce the lethal damage one would take if the fail the associated save? Does one get a bonus to fortitude save for their resistance? Inquiring minds would like to know.
Damage from cold temperatures is cold damage. Damage from hot temperatures is fire damage.
(Sits back and waits for someone to run with this post and cause a big scene over in the rules forums.)

...that is really quite a sad state of affairs...
Try having all your characters Errata's or house ruled in pfs to the point that you have nothing left to play except new characters and pretend but you have now played so many scenario's that you can only afford to make about one more new character before your first three levels are all pretend playing in 3-5's.
That is a sad state of affairs. :)
