Question about Slumber Hex / Sleep Spell

Rules Questions

After the target fails its save and falls asleep:

1. Do they continue to stand there asleep? Or do they fall prone?

2. Do they drop any weapons that they were wielding?

Undefined, though I imagine in most cases, GMs rule that they fall prone and drop anything held. I wouldn't think it unreasonable for a GM to rule the opposite in certain situations.

Sleep renders foes unconscious and helpless. I suppose you could argue that when one is knocked out they somehow hold on to all their gear in their hands.

Granted certain items such as locked gauntlets can be used to prevent loss of weapons. A shield may be strapped on, etc...
