If you ever want to find out if something is legal, feel free to consult the Additional Resources page.
In this case, Nature Soul and Animal Ally are both legal in PFS.
And the site those two can be found on is really handy for telling you if something is legal, and what source it can be found in. Of course, the Additional Resources document is the only official way to tell. Archives of Nethys is just really good at doing it for you.
Additionally, you'll have to purchase Animal Archive if you wish to use those feats in PFS.

Doh! You're absolutely correct.
Are there any helpful Traits for Animal Companions?
Once you raise your Animal Companion's Intelligence to 3 it qualifies for the Additional Traits feat, and can select two Character Traits. If you search the Advice Forum, you'll find many suggestions as to what Traits are most useful for Animal Companions. Helpful can be useful if you're styling your Animal Companion to be a Bodyguard (so long as you use the Adopted Trait to acquire it). Armor Expert can be useful if you want to give your Animal Companion Mithral Breastplate Barding (which would then have an Armor Check Penalty of zero, bypassing the need for any Armor Proficiency feats).
But there is quite a bit of variation out there. Those are just two suggestions off the top of my head.
Also, with the Animal Ally feat, assuming you take the AC at level 4 and Boon Companion to raise its level by 4, will it then continue to level with you? So, if my Skald is level 7 then my AC will also be level 7?
It will continue to remain at your max character level.
