Hi.
Iv decided i want to go with a melee sorcerer and I could use some help creating one.
So far what Iv decided is:
Half orc, sorcerer dragon disciple, crossblooded, draconic & abyssal.
Iv rolled good stats :D
Weapon:GreatAxe
STR 16 +2 18
DEX 16
Con 15
Int 12
Wiz 10
Cha 16
First attribute point will be put on Constitution to get extra hp.
Every other attribute point to strength.
I'm prioritizing strength which makes my will saves quite easy.
Therefor I was thinking to choose spells that helps me in melee.
Enlarge person is something i think i will utilize a lot. It makes my greataxe do 2d8 instead of 1d12. Provides a lot higher avrg damage. Though EP is restricted in a lot of cases.
In combination with that I'm thinking cleave and great cleave would be good with a 10 feet reach i get from being bigger?
Next is shield, mage armor, bulls strength, invisibility.
Those are my pri on the low levels. And Grease to put on my self so when I am big people wont be able to grapple overrun me etc.
Than damaging spells all that includes fire damage as i get loads of boosts on it.
Question to my Sorcerer favorite ability. Fire spell bonus which stacks.
How does it work, it says it adds half the damage of the spell to its total damage? Or is it half a lvl added to it?
If a spell deals 4d4 and i have 4 stacked, whats the dmg total?
Now when it comes to feats, I'm not that good.
I want to up my ac as i love a good ac! Ironhide, dodge, and improved natural armor which stacks so I can take this if i have feats to spare.
And as sorcerer in melee a good as would be preferable.
But and however, there are a ton of feats to choose from and I haven't looked into theme all yet. So getting 3 extra ac might be a total waist of feats??? If there are some really awesome out there???
Aside from those, Power attack is one I will get from bloodline along with Quick Spell, and some other goodies.
So any tips hints, ore other ways to go??
Id gladly appreciate all the help I can get.
My play style will be good neutral, silent type, and barbaric in a way of charging headless into battle if it means saving something in a raging bloodlust mode.
Thanks guys!
Sorry for my english form its bad i know.

Your will save is going to suck big time, its wisdom that adds to will, not strength. I see a 10 in wis there.
Draconic works like this. 4d4 burning hands becomes 4d4+4 as you get 1 pt dmg extra per dmg die.Half orc fcb adds 2 dmg to total dmg of the fire spell at level 4.
Dragon disciple you will lose caster levels so your fire spells will be less powerful. You'll need magical knack trait to make up for lost caster levels. Sorcerers have low bab and not likely to hit much. I suggest you drop crossblooded just use eldritch heritage and greater to pick up strength of the abysss if you really want to. Go and read the dragon disciple guide as well.

Have you considered the Bloodrager class from the "Advanced Class Guide" book? The Bloodrager has almost twice as many hit points, and it's Base Attack Bonus grows twice as fast. It has a few spells after level 4,and it gets Bloodlines just like the Sorcerer does, but the Bloodrager versions are all changed to work for a melee character. As a bonus, you can also Rage like a Barbarian for even more damage and bonus HP!
Sure you can throw a lot of buff spells on a Sorcerer and have them kind of work in melee, but that means spending several turns casting buff spells while the other party members are doing all the fun stuff.

are you wanting the draconic theme for your character and THAT is why you wanna do a melee sorcerer?
do you want to overcome the challenge of building a character that functions differently than what the class was designed for?
are you trying to find the best class to fith with your theme/backstory?
I think everyone who posts will restate that a melee sorcerer will come with challenges. Depending on how you envision your character may help with suggestions for your build. Is the sorcerer class negotiable? Do you just want a melee character who can use magic also?
