What happens when you gain Domains from more than 1 class?

Rules Questions

So I'm looking at the Sacred Huntsmaster Inquisitor and the Divine Hunter Archetype (2 classes) and each gain a Domain.

What do I do about this and what by chance would you guys/gals pick for your domains?

Is there a way, if you wanted of course, to not really worship a deity but an ideal instead and gain those domains?

I'm pretty sure you're stuck with a maximum-ever two domains. Any new domains must be your old domains. Not sure whether you'll be limited to one or two. Opinions?

I like the feather subdomain for the bonus to perception. I also like the plant domain power that allows you to grow spikes so that anyone who hits you takes damage.

Dark Archive

I like the Frog domain for the climb and swim speed, the crocodile domain for the sneak attack, and the mount inquisition especially with the divine hunter archetype for getting all the things to your animal companion(as long as your DM isn't a butt)

For the inquisitor you have to worship a deity unless your GM says it is ok not to.

Can you have both an Inquisition from Sacred Huntsmaster and a Domain from Divine Hunter then?

Yes because they are two different classes. I don't see rule that stops it. Generally speaking inquisitions are not as good as domains however so might be better off with two domains.

I was looking at one of the Inquistions that allowed me to use my Wisdom for Bluff/Intimidate checks. Thought that would be great for Feint attacks with Feint Partner etc... and the Wolf Domain for the free Improved Trip. Now if the enemy is denied his dex to my next attack, does that also remove his dex from his CMD against a trip attempt?

Are you talking about the paladin's divine hunter? It doesn't grant a domain.

I looked at the sacred huntmaster since he mentioned the inquisitor, but now I am not sure about what he meant.

No sorry guys, I'm looking at a mash-up of 2 classes here Inquisitor and Hunter and the following archetypes for them: Sacred Hunstmaster and Divine Hunter.

In that case your idea should work as far as one inquisition and one domain.

Though for flavor, they should at least be VERY compatible.

He would be referring to the Divine Hunter archetype of Hunter from the ACG.

Yeah, it's super annoying how a lot of the archetypes/classes in ACG have the exact same names as existing archetypes.

Likely the reason the correct way to write out a class is

Paladin (Divine Hunter) 3, Hunter (Divine Hunter) 2

Agreed.
