I’m thinking a character that tries to get someone or something else to do nearly everything for him. (Also might consider for a NPC the son of someone important that the players need to deal with fairly often.)
Rides around on a self propelled floating chariot or flying carpet (smoother ride than a horse) or something like that.
Seems spontaneous caster since too lazy to study hard enough to be a prepared caster.
Arcane since dedicated to his own comfort not the decrees of some deity.
First thought that comes to mind is an enchanter to enspel others to do stuff for him.
But maybe a summoner that creates creatures to do stuff for him.
Probably also a familiar for another loyal servant.
Seems like there are quite a few spells and magic items that would work for the concept.
Unseen Servant
Polypurpose Panecea
Web Shelter
Nap Stack
Charm X
Suggestion
Dominate
Honeyed Tongue
I think there was a token that makes a campsite
Gloves of Storing
Handy Haversack
Efficient Quiver
Teleport
Overland Flight
Any others that I should be considering? Would you be upset to have this PC alongside?
Note: If I did this as a PC, I wouldn’t take every single spell and items as a convenience thing. Just enough to be noticeable. Plus a lot of those seem like they would be useful to the group as a whole.

Also there's Servant Horde. It's one of my favorites. It was 3.5, but most DM's would allow you to research it I think.

Ha! Never heard of the Servant Horde. I love it.
I think an air elemental carrying me would be a smoother ride than an earth elemental stumping along. But I like the direction of your thoughts.
Good point on leadership. That could easily give me a bunch of non-combat minions to make my life easier. Maybe the cohort as a bodyguard if I take a familiar with the valet archtype.
I don't remember reading about a Sloth Wizard. What is that from?

I think air elemental is more pragmatic, but borders on cheesy. It really depends on what kind of game your playing. Once you get 5th level spells you can cast overland flight on your earth elemental.
Sloth wizard is sin magic. You can find it on PFSRD I think.

Sloth Wizard is a Thassilonian Wizard specialization. It's from the RotRL Adventure Path. You can find information here. Basically, it's all about having other people do the work. If you make it an NPC, it's easier to give it all the nifty magical extras you want it to have.

I kind of think a Sorcerer would be more appropriate for the synergy between having Charisma as the primary stat and using various Charisma based skills to convince people to do things by sheer personality. I'm sure there is at least one bloodline somewhere that would also dovetail into being more persuasive and/or have charm/influence abilities, too.
Of course, the spell's available would be fewer than a Wizard, so that's a concern, but would be coupled with having more castings per day. A Sorcerer also fits in with your idea that the guy is just too darn lazy to bother the study necessary to be a Wizard and the daily hassle of spell preparation.
