Sorcerer Version of Preferred Spell

I am reading Preferred Spell and I like it for Sorcerers, if it weren't for that prereq of Heighten Spell.

Is there any other feats that allow Sorcerers to cast metamagic spells without increasing the casting time?

There's Spontaneous Metafocus.

Technically speaking you can take both, though there's no reason to (since Spontaneous Metafocus gives the only benefit you'd get from Preferred Spell, with less prerequisites).
