Crossblooded Orc Draconic, do the arcanas stack?

Rules Questions

Orc Bloodline arcana gives you
Whenever you cast a spell that deals damage, that spell deals +1 point of damage per die rolled.

and the Draconic Bloodline gives you
Whenever you cast a spell with an energy descriptor that matches your draconic bloodline's energy type, that spell deals +1 point of damage per die rolled.

Do they stack? If I go crossblooded, does that mean I do +2 damage per die rolled?

Yes.

Wouldn't be much point to Crossblooded if they didn't.

I think those two together make it worth while.... I still feel very feat starved though.

you can also add stuff like :

-taking a gnome with the alt racial trait "Pyromaniac" to increase all fire spells caster level by 1 (if you pick a draconic related to fire)

- take the trait "Havoc of the Society" let you add 1 force damage to all damage dealing spells

-in the rise of the runelords campign traits pick "outsider" and then take the 1st option of "loreseeker" let you pick up to 3 spells from the sroucerer spell list that you cast at +1 to level and +1 to save dc.

you can have a 1st level gnomish pryomaniac who at 1st level throws a 3d4+3 burning hands spells with a +1 to the save dc. and acid spalshs of 1d3+2(when i took it i used the 2nd spell for mage armor and the 3rd for later on fireball, just so it will deal mor damage faster and make it a bit harderfor evesion guys to evade)

Is the sole purpose of Crossblooded for the benefit of this combination of these two specific bloodlines?

No, but it would be weird to have an useless Bloodline Arcarna, after taking all the penalties Crossblooded gives you.

The sole purpose of Crossblooded is to give you two Bloodlines' abilities.

Which is not what it would be doing if these for some reason didn't stack (since there's no indicator they wouldn't stack, or shouldn't stack...).

Almost every other Crossblooded combination would give you two different types of boost and stacking wouldn't be an issue.

Still, I'm sure Paizo would never make an unexpected ruling about things not stacking...

They've already stated that FAQ applies to nothing but stat bonuses and was not intended to ever apply to anything other than stat bonuses, so that's an irrelevant point to make.

I would venture that powerful combos like Orc/Draconic are why the crossblooded archetype comes with such a harsh penalty.

Exactly.

You can of course skip most of the negative side of the crossblooded by going:
1st lvl crossblooded orc/draconic sorcerer and 19 wizard after that. Granted you will be behind on CL but there are ways to make up for it.
