Monk bleeding attack

Rules Questions

I'm confused,

My party monk has bleeding attack, so she rolled 3 on the initial bleed attack. Okay, nice.

But, she now says the one she's hitting continues to bleed every turn.
Descriptor Bleeding Attack. Benefit says it just deals the extra dmg, opposed to causing a continuously bleeding wound.

So does Bleeding Attack cause a continued bleeding?

Short answer - Yes

Long answer - The link you posted specifically says it does 1d4 bleed damage. With a hyperlink to describe what bleed damage means. And if you click the word 'bleed', you will see that any damage described as 'bleed damage' is by definition a continuously bleeding wound.

A creature that takes bleed damage will continue to take that damage until a heal check or any magical healing is applied to the creature. Bleed damage usually does not stack with itself, it usually the highest bleed value persist and causes damage on each turn.

Yes, but Bleed damagage doesn't stack. Each attack by the monk does an extra 1d4, but there is only one instance of 1d4 continuing damage.

That damage continues until the opponent receives healing, or benefits from a DC 15 heal check.
