I have searched forums and messageboards about this and am unsure if I am searching correctly.
If I apply two metamagic feats to my chosen spell (bet you didn't guess it was Shocking Grasp) is it -1 after all adjustments or -1 for each adjustment?
For example : Intensifying Spell (+1 spell slot) and Dazing Spell (+3 spell slot) applied to a Shocking Grasp. Is the Shocking Grasp now a 4th level slot (+4 feats - 1 magical lineage = +3 adjusted slot) or a 3st level (+1 feat -1 lineage +3 feat -1 lineage = +2 adjusted slot)?
Pardon me if this has been ruled on.
Edited: as Kestral pointed out that Dazing Spell is +3

Dazing Spell is actually a +3, not a +1.
Overall. Intensified Shocking Grasp = 1 (SG)+1 (Intensified)-1 (Lineage) = 1st level spell. Intensified Dazing Shocking Grasp = 1 (SG)+1 (Intensified)+3 (Dazing)-1 (Lineage) = Fourth level spell.
You can stack it with Wayang Spellhunter (identical to Lineage save for specifying 3rd level or lower spells). You can't drop the spell to 0th level with these traits, but that would make your Intensified Dazing Shocking Grasp into a third level spell instead of a fourth.

Claxon wrote:-1 from the total only. -1 from each metamagic would be absurdly powerful. It would basically mean you could apply all the +1 metamagics and still have it as a level 1 spell.
There's actually a 3.5 feat for -1 from each, Arcane Thesis. Blaster-casters everywhere would drool for it, and I've seen a fair few builds that abuse it heavily.
