I need some advice on something my Player wants to do for his group. He is a fighter of the group and want to convince the baddies to pick him as a target most of the time. He was thinking of using one of 2 skill to try to do this. One is the bluff skill so that he tricked the enemy into thinking that he was the one that did the most damage to it so far. The second one is Intimidate the npc into thinking he his the biggest badest one of the group so they will try to take him out first.
Nether way would be a magical thing so the npc can still target the others with out penalty. I am not sure though if I should allow this or not and is so should it be only one or both methods. I figure they would be stranded actions with a feat to make it a move if I let it in like bluff.
What do you think?
P.S. I am not sure if this should have been in house rules or advice so please forgive me if I picked the wrong one.

In addition to roleplaying and feats that draw the attention of foes, does the Fighter in question understand reach tactics? In Pathfinder, one standard way to reliably be an effective 'tank' is to wield a reach weapon. Foes can't ignore you, because squishy allies will shelter in your reach shadow. Also, your two handed pole weapon hits so hard, and so often, that foes must swiftly deal with you else surely die.
There's no reason the fighter in question can't use both approaches. Real combat styles teach one to 'layer' techniques, so that if one technique fails the next might still work.

There is any way to taunt in an mmo style by hitting a button and then the other guys hit you and ignore the rogue who is removing their kidneys aside from the feats mentioned above. The trick is to make the character a real threat. Big crits, reach builds, step up line of feats, trip builds (especially combined with reach) or any method of ensuring the enemy will regret not focusing you is your best way if the gm plays his npcs as intelligent.
