When chatting with someone IRL about a FAQ, do you refer to it as...
~an eff-ay-kyoo
OR
~a fack
OR
~(something different)
I've always said fack and am unsure if this is common or if I just sound like a fool!
(side note: was temped to jokingly post this in the Rules Forum)
:)

I am old, and I first heard this term used by my children ten or fifteen years ago, and they said "eff ay kyoo"

I'm trying to mark this post for FAQ (eff-ay-kyoo, btw) but I don't have the option.
We should get a clarification from the devs.
Fac. Kind of clip the end of it, removing the k sound.

Darn! Maybe this should have gone into the rules forum!
I do wonder if the devs are thinking,
"Fack? Sounds ridiculous!"
or
"Fack,yes!"
eff-ay-kyoo.
Unless I'm being my devilishly funny self, in which case I use fack.
"eff ay kyoo" here in my part of the world.
Just the Faqs. Not the F...A...Q...the Faqs.
It sort of sounds like FAX.
But we aren't printing it off a machine, we are just viewing frequently asked questions on the computer screen.

and now the eminem song is stuck in my head, thanks.
Fack or eff-y-que ... I'm FAQ-flexible ;)
{finishes Razzle-Dazzle} "That's the fack, Jack." [/John Winger]
According to the jargon file both are correct. I always use fak though and I don't recall ever hearing the other.
I am so glad to see I am not alone!
Eff Ay Cue here. I don't hear it pronounced fack very often here.
