Hello my name is Edward and I would like to recruit players for my Skype based pathfinder sessions. Before I go on there are a few things to know about how me and my growing circle of GM/players do things.
1) most of the adventure is purely pen, paper, dice, and voice, we love talking out our actions and relying on our minds eye during play, but in some situations a little visual aid is probably necessary. We are looking into ways to do this with webcams, paper, game mats, and simple tokens but beyond that the power of your imagination will be your strongest tool.
2) digital dice rollers are acceptable, physics based ones even better.
3) game flow is half scripted half emergent, our GMs are good at letting the dice take us to new places.
For example, a ridiculously lucky diplomacy roll leading to a boss joining the party as a GM character.
A battle with a clockwork leviathan going horribly one sided, only for good perception rolls to reveal to the players that nearby control panel use can weaken it, and then the rogue got a crit on it, GM used a prepared home brew crit table, the shot hit the enemies wire cluster and blinded it, bringing the fights CR way down to acceptable levels.
4) we run alot of high fantasy, high action campaigns, without sacrificing the good parts like dialogue, diplomacy, and so on.
5) the game coordinator, aka me, has a very large and ready library of the main pathfinder books, 14 books strong, I am the one to speak to for reference, aside from that we use the wiki as well.
6) we meet generally once or twice a week, weekdays 6pm to 12pm central standard, weekends, anytime we feel like it, weekends are usually open.
Please feel free to ask any questions, and I hope to see you on Skype for a short interview soon.

I am all kinds of interested in this! My very first Pathfinder game was done over Skype, thanks to the DM being Greek. A lot more fun when you can act and use emphasis in your roleplaying. And reactions to Nat 20's are never not entertaining to hear.
Hey there, I'm Ed's DM/GM. Glad to hear that you're interested, send me your skype name and we'll get to talking.

I have an interest but am waiting for a new mic that should be here in a week or two. I also have work obligations that would prevent me from playing on Sundays and Tuesdays. I have only played in one campaign that lasted about two years, at University. During vacation we played by skype and roll20, I was not the best player but I was consistent on time and willing.
What are the rules for character creation?
When are the general meeting times?
What is the setting?
