Do you have an AoO against a trip attempt if you already used your AoO this round?

Rules Questions

Let's suppose my opponent tries to trip me, but doesn't have improved trip and let's suppose I don't have combat reflexes (so limited to just one Attack of Opportunity), if I already used my AoO this round, do a get a free one when my opponent tries to trip me?

Do you have an AoO against a trip attempt if you already used your AoO this round?

Yes, you have to have an AoO available in order to take one in any situation.

No, you cannot perform more AOOs in a round than you have AOOs to perform (default 1, combat reflexes gives you more).

Paulicus said the same thing, but from the other side, so that's why he said 'yes' and I said 'no', heh.

Nope.

Without Combat Reflexes you are limited to one Attack of Opportunity. If you've already used it, it doesn't matter if people are provoking by running past you or trying to trip you. Result is the same, you don't have any left to respond with.

Even with Combat Reflexes, you can use up all your Attacks of Opportunity. If a mob runs past you, pick your targets well.

I was going to brag that I actually answered the question, then I read it again :P
