I believe these boards will automatically censor any profanity detected. But the first letter of the word is preserved, so you get the idea pretty well.
As far as official rules that might affect your account, the community guidelines state:
Profanity/Vulgar Speech
While certain language may not be offensive to you, please consider that some phrases may have a completely different effect on someone else. Trying to get around our profanity filter or purposefully obscuring profanity/vulgar phrases is not acceptable.
So it appears that they assume vulgarity may come up (and in an Apocalypse World this certainly would be true), what is prohibited is intentional means to bypass the filter (likely through the use of numbers that look like letters, or strategically placed spaces or punctuation, etc.)
So if you're ok with character's speech often littered with symbols for bleeps, then I think you're golden.

Also, I would be extremely interested in an Apocalypse World game and am familiar with the system/own the setting rules, FWIW.

Own it, interested in playing it, but just not sure the Paizo forums are a good place for a game where every character archetype has a distinct *COUGH* "Special Move."
If I'm being opaque, then take a look at a playbook, any playbook, and look for "Special Move." Should be pretty obvious what I mean. Monsterhearts has the same problem, only more of it since it's full of a bunch of high-school teenage outcasts who each also have a "Special Move."
If you decide to run it on another forum, feel free to let me know.
