Just logged in and can't chat or click open the crafting building doors

My character sheet also says I've got crazy stuff.

EDIT: Well my character looked awesome with 9000+ HPs and over 9 million xp to spend. Roles listed were funny! Lover 5, Hater 20, Haxxor 11 etc...
also all my attack bonuses were 999. Couldn't talk or click on things in town but as soon as I tried to run out of town to try attacking a mob, I got logged out and upon relog my character sheet showed correct stats and roles. Pretty funny stuff.

I lost most of my craft and salvage stuff, I guess because I was in the middle of a trade with my of my characters when we were booted for the upgrade. :-)

Oh well, still prefer to have the upgrade than the stuff.

Desynch does some funny stuff.

It is getting more common lately especially around the center of Thornkeep.

Sometimes changing hexes while out of sync before relogging can help.

Have the same problem in TK. Several relog didn't worked.

Left TK hexes, relog, char seems to be ok.

Run back to TK, NPC missing and can't interact with bank or crafting stations. Relog, char stats in disaray again.

Maybe TK is too crowded? Will try again later. Have fun!

If Thornkeep is too crowded now, that doesn't bode well for the stress test (or EE).

I just got home, loaded the patched game, and logged into Thornkeep. My text wasn't showing up in General Chat, so I reloaded. Now I'm stuck at Waiting for Character.

On the next try, I got as far as Loading Terrain, and the client crashed.

Now I'm stuck at Waiting for Character again. Next, I think I'll try logging into one of the characters that I made on the first day of Alpha 8, but haven't played since then. Both of them are still in their starter towns.

A fellow logged in and reported a similar problem for his main, and said he could not log that character in.

But the character he named aloud in chat had been teleporting all over Thornkeep all evening.

I figured he was blatantly spoofing the server with his location with a script and having the character log coordinates. Even named him in a bug report.

But apparently he was having a similar problem as you.

I logged into one of my alts with no problem. Trying my main again.

Fantastic. I'm under the world, falling.

I logged out and back in, and now I'm outside Thornkeep. General chat works again.

I walked back into Thornkeep, fell through the world when I tried to cross a bridge, wound up in the river (successfully standing on the riverbed), got back to the auction house, lost general chat again, and I'm now stuck at Waiting for Character again.

Okay, here's a new one: I'm stuck at Waiting for Server Location.

Now my alt, in Rathglen, can't type on the General channel.

Note for those commenting about not being able to type in chat .. the messages you type in chat do show up for everyone else, the message just isn't echoed to your chat window .. and your chat window doesn't receive any messages from anyone else.

So, you can send but not receive .. not sure if being able to do so is useful for the devs if they want to check out the issue as it is happening.
