Constricted and confused

Rules Questions

So if I have multiple attacks with improved grapple that all have grab associated with them (Like tentacle attacks or vine attacks) and constrict associated with them, do I do constrict damage for EACH successful grapple check that round AND successive rounds on the same creature? separate creatures ( so I made an attack with my vines on lets say 4 creatures and hit 3 of them and made successful grapple checks). I know this is basic but I still have issues with it. Thanks

One grapple check per character grappled is my understanding.

Monster with 3 vine attacks vs 3 PCs

Round 1
Monster vine attacks Fred the Fighter
Monster hits
Monster does vine damage
Monster gets free grab
Monster beats Fred's CMD
Monster and Fred gain grappled condition
Monster inflicts constrict damage

Monster vine attacks Clara the Cleric with -2 from Grappled condition
Monster hits
Monster does vine damage
Monster gets free grab
Monster beats Clara's CMD
Clara gains grappled condition (monster already has it)
Monster inflicts constrict damage

Monster vine attacks Gus the Gunslinger with -2 from Grappled condition
Monster hits
Monster does vine damage
Monster gets free grab
Monster beats Gus' CMD
Gus gains grappled condition (monster already has it)
Monster inflicts constrict damage

On their turns Fred, Clara and Gus all fail to break free from Grapple

Round 2
Two options:
1) The monster may release all the grapples as free action and repeat round 1's attack cycle
or
2) Use a standard action to maintain ONE grapple (releasing the other two people). If it maintains the grapple, it can pin, move or damage. Also, it gets constrict damage on the target since it made a successful grapple check to maintain.

Thanks for that detailed explanation!
