Using Elemental Fist with a Ki Intensifying weapon.

My monk just reached level 11 and has a bunch of gold. I have enough (and more) to up my +1 temple sword to a +3 weapon. What I'm more interested in is the Ki Focus/Ki Intensifying bonus.

My monk is a Drunken Master the Four Winds. He has elemental fist instead of Stunning Fist. Does this allow me to make elemental fist attacks with my Temple Sword?

I would assume it would because you can do stunning fist, but I want to check my bases before I make a purchase.

Technically, Elemental Fist never says you need to use an unarmed strike to use it. You could by RAW use it with a temple sword without it being Ki Focused to begin with.

Ki intensifying is still a pretty good trait though if you do pick up Stunning fist, and possibly for the swift action maneuvers.

11 levels of Monk and I never actually knew this. I would have a +21 to trip. Good Ol' RAW.

I really want to be able to do the Free Trip with a Ki point so I think I will take it.
