Crouching Spells, Hidden Spellbooks

Rules Questions

In 3.5 there were two feats that allowed a wizard to add more 'free' spells to their spellbook on every level gain and one that made each scribed spell take up less pages in their spellbook.

Has anyone seen any traits, feats, items, or such in any Paizo material to duplicate any of these?

Also, are there spellbooks with more than 100 pages (other than blessed book)?

There is no spellbook with more pages in the rule books but in the books are only standard items. I think is no problem to buy a book with 300 pages, a rope that is 200ft long, a waterskin for 2 gallons, a large piece of soap (weight 3 pounds), etc.

You use the price and the weight of the listed items as a baseline and than you have your 'custom mundan item'.

Decipher Script Feat makes you scribe quicker and easier
Favored Class bonus allows for another spell in spellbook

Ummm, what Decipher Script feat? Thanks :)

Pathfinder Maps, Starfinder Maps, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Inner Seas World Guide has Cypher Script feat, pg 284.

That halves the cost and number of pages required to scribe the spell in a spellbook.

Requirements can easily be fulfilled by a first level Wizard.

Silver Crusade

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Cypherscript is one you want.

Edit: Ninjas!

ahhh yeah sorry cypher script not decypher script..... thanks desolate!!

Scarab Sages

Also you can fit 1000 levels of spells into a blessed book (at no scribing cost to boot).
