Concept is pulling from a few different sources; Secret Wars, Mortal Combat, Warriors Orochi, a few different TV shows, etc..
The idea is that an Evil god reaches out through space and time to other worlds and pulls people to his world to fight.
He has done it several times before and now it's Earth's turn. So one day Poof, Humans from many different places and times find themselves on a strange world with no explanation.
Other races do exist but having lived through the cycle before they are motivated by fear and do their best to keep hidden. Elves are forest dwelling nomads without any permanent settlements, Dwarves sealed up their mountain strongholds and hid the doors, Gnomes keep their villages small and hidden with illusions, etc... All of them want to avoid notice by the new commers because they know what's coming and they don't want the enemy to find out there are survivors from the previous Cycles.
The cycle generally works like this
-New race shows up
-builds settlements then kingdoms
-they start running into each other and fights break out eventually turning into wars.
-The Chosen of the evil god make their way across the ocean (having just finished mopping up the last batch their god sent over).
-Chosen invade, crushing the young kingdoms, enslavingand sacrificing people to their god and generally crushing the new comers into dust.
-Dark God gets a new batch from another world.
-Repeat.
The World does have other gods but they are imprisoned. The only things they can do is send visions and grant spells to priests.
The initial kingdoms from Earth that I am thinking of using are
-King Arthur and Camelot
-Romance of the Three Kingdoms
-Nobunaga Oda and other heroes ofthe Warring States era
-Rome lead by Julius Ceaser
I also want to include a few other significant characters such as Leonardo DaVinci, Joan of Arc, Rasputin, Abe no Seimei, Billy the Kid, etc...
(My Wise man Trinity is going to be Leonardo, Merlin and Abe no Seimei)
PCs will be mostly human, though I will allow other races if they really want to. Mostly non-magic classes to start, with Retraining rules allowed as the game progresses. Also want to include SGG Anachronistic Adventurer classes to give players the option of more modern day characters.
I'm looking for some input.
What sort of glitches might I run into, what will I need to keep in mind, what other kingdoms or characters might be a good choice to include. Any 3rd Party stuff that might be useful.

Dude, they killed Heroscape for a REASON!
In all seriousness, and I want you to not hate me for saying this but I advise picking one or two things from that concept and just following that through. Want a game set in the Warring States? Great! Want to combine that with Gods selecting people? Also great! Add King Arthur, Ancient Rome, and Gnomes? Less great. As Mister Miyagi say: Lack Focus!

the interaction between different legends is kind of what I want to deal with, including letting players take on the role of some of those figures if they want. If one players wants to roll up Lancelot, another makes Lu Bu and the third makes a nameless WW1 infantry soldier, I want to see how that plays out roleplaying wise.
and I kind of enjoyed Heroscape, thanks for reminding me of it

It will be messy. Too messy.
Look, I know I sound harsh here but I have played in similar games where the DM has a crazy off the wall concept and then runs it into the ground. It is a bear to sit down and play in that game as a player. So here, I will straight up drop you some advice: considering the number of character classes and the type of archetypes represented by those character classes, is it possible? Yes. Should you do it? Sure do whatever you want. The real question is will you find people willing to play it? Of that, I am less sure.
If you do find people, like if you are dead certain people will play it...just draw up the sheets necessary, split that plot into seven or eight game sessions, and then run it. There is no actual advice needed on our part because, while I am not a huge fan of the concept, you do more or less have the entire plot written. Just find guys to run it.
