Are the bestiary books comprehensive? For example:
Beastiary 2 = Beastiary 1 + more
Beastiary 3 = Beastiary 2 + Beastiary 1 + more
Beastiary 4 = Beastiary 3 + Beastiary 2 + Beastiary 1 + more
Or does each book just contain completely different monsters in each book? I'm looking to buy them but I'm curious if I need 1,2,3,4 or just book 4.
EDIT: Changed title slightly.

Each book contains different monsters (though you might see one or two individual monsters in different beastiaries, I think the kitsune character race was in two different ones. Can't be certain).
The first beastiary is likely the most useful as it has the stats for summoned creatures in it, as well as animals most PCs will need stats for (horses, dogs, etc.).

Each stands independently. I'd generally suggest getting Bestiary 1 first, but you can check out 1, 2, and 3 on the PRD if you want to see which has the monsters you want.
Cheers!

In my opinion Bestiary 1 is just like a D&D book, most creatures come from D&D books.
Book 2, 3 and 4 are much more to my likening. 3 and 4 are my favorites and book 2 has the best AP monsters in it.
But they are all very different from eachother, they all contain D&D, real myth, folklore, fairytale, movie, famous books and horror monsters in it.
