Buy one?
Seriously, it's a P/S weapon which is not banned.
Once you have enough fame to afford 8,335gps you're all set.
Don't see an issue here.
The prominence of chronicle sheet loot tends to make people not understand how important the fame mechanic is for things like this.
Once you have 27 fame (which you should have before you have that much gold in the bank), you can upgrade your wakazashi from +1 to +1 keen. On your chronicle sheet (and or inventory tracking sheet) write
Wakazashi +1 ----> Wakazashi +1 keen 6,000 GP.
What your character does is head to their faction, plunk a bunch of gold on the table, and they find a craftsman to upgrade it for you.

Lots of newbies to PFS seem to misunderstand how item purchasing works. Unfortunately, the Guide to Organized Play has information all over the place, so it's not the easiest to read. Here's a basic summary I wrote a while ago and keep pasting into various related threads:
In order to purchase any item in Pathfinder Society, you must qualify to purchase that item by one of these three requirements:
1. It can be on the list of "always available" items in the Pathfinder Society Guide to Organized Play. This includes all non-magical goods (other than firearms and dragon scale armor), +1 weapons, +1 armors, +1 shields, potions and scrolls of level 0 or 1 spells, and Wayfinders.
2. It can be on any chronicle sheet your PC has earned. Be sure to keep your chronicles separate if you have more than one PC.
3. Its total value can be less than the maximum item value you can purchase for your fame, as listed in the Guide to Organized Play. Remember when upgrading items that this is based on total item value after the upgrade, not just what you're spending on the current upgrade.
Any items you qualify for using methods 1 or 3 must be confirmed as legal for PFS in the Additional Resources page. Items on chronicles don't need to be legal according to the Additional Resources, so you can sometimes get items that wouldn't normally be legal that way.

Fromper, a couple of minor corrections:
dragon scale should be dragonhide
Note that you can upgrade items purchased with PP, like the 750 gp item for 2 PP, and that the total value includes that item's covered cost for Fame purposes, even though the item itself has a value of 0 gold.
Example:
2 PP used to purchase a masterwork darkwood composite longbow, with a +3 Strength rating, gold cost of 730 gp.
It can be upgraded to +1 without any Fame minimum, as everything involved in it is Always Available.
To upgrade it to +2, or add a +1 enhancement bonus to it, would raise the value for Fame purposes to 8,730 gp, not just 8,000 gp "because the longbow has no resale value.", so 27 Fame, not just the 22 for 8,000.

A related question that I've wondered about is if you use 2PP to buy armor, upgrade it to +1 using money, then decide to get different armor and sell what you upgraded. What is the sale price of the original armor?
0 gp (it's the item you bought with prestige),500 gp (half the price of the upgrade), or
500 gp + half the value of the masterwork armor

Also be aware of the fact improved critical and keen do not stack. So if you have a class feature that gives you keen (say Magus) or Improved Critical (say playtest swashbuckler -likely to make it into ACG version I'd Imagine)
If you shell out for something that you get anyway you only get half your money back for selling or even worse add a higher price for adding the stuff you really want later
