No, no line saying minimum 1. If you have a -3 charisma you can't channel. I don't know how you'd get a charisma that low, but if you're a dwarf you might want to take the archetype to trade out channel energy.
Actually, looking at taking a level of cleric of Irori with my Zen Archer to get Crusader's Flurry to get unarmed strike flurry again.
Well how are you ending up with a -3 cha? I'm really curious as to how you'd pull that off.

It's a PFS character. Zen doesn't need Charisma, so I bought it down to a 7.
He's an oni-spawn tiefling, which has a -2 Cha.
So, Charisma 5.

Trying to channel the raw energy of life/death if you have less than 12 Cha would result in your brain collapsing and your heart exploding.

In PF, channeling with a Cha under 13 is its own penalty, since you cannot channel selectively. And, against undead, that save DC is going to be horrid.
Yeah, the Channel won't do much, but its pretty much just an added bonus for a character who is primarily taking the level for something else (i.e. Crusader's Flurry in the OP's case). Somewhat common for monks to do the one level dip for that reason. Any heal will just be a bonus. Might not come up often, but could be really nice when it does.
