Abyssal Sorcerer advice

Advice

New player here, and I'm wanting to make a character similar to the main character in the game "Dark Messiah of Might and Magic", in that he had Demonic blood in his veins, and at a certain point, he can turn into a demon and gains a claw attack and fire resistance.

I want something like that. Some magic as backup, but natural claw weapons with a demon flavor. I'm thinking something like an Abyssal Tiefling Sorcerer.

Thoughts?

I loved that game. As far as classes go decide on how much you want to use the claws. If it is constantly then bloodeager might work better.

That sounds cool, but I can't find any class/archetype called "Bloodeager". Care to point a noob to a resource? :)

It's actually "Bloodrager", from Advanced Class Guide. It's a relatively new class that combines sorcerer with barbarian.

You get rage, a bloodline, and at 4th level, spells.

I don't know how turning into a deamon works..
but if you want a mix most people will point out "eldritch knight" prestige class in the core book. It'll kinda make a battleish spell caster (kinda hard to do)

Bloodrager is probably the best, but i don't know much about it. The book comes out soon, but you can (by searching around the forums or google) find the playtest free PDF version of Advanced Class Guide that has closeish to the final build, you would just need to update it when the book comes out.
