Help!

Hey guys!

I uninstalled 3.1 and Installed 4.0. I log in. tried to load a character and it hangs at Loading Data.

Crated new character and same thing.

I have a new HP Pavilion slim line 400-314PC from Best buy running Windows 8.1

I had no problems with version 3.1

any suggestions OR ay one have Goblinworks support email?

Just don't expect a response until a reasonable hour for a GW employee to be awake, a.k.a. 10 AM Pacific Standard Time.

Zodd's response is unnecessarily terse, but correct. Your first port of call should be the customer support email address.

Same happened to me yesterday. I downloaded from link of the first mail to this weekend.

Uninstalled it 5 mins later, and downloaded from the link of the 2nd mail.
No problem since then.

One thing to try is check task manager (alt & ctrl & delete) and make sure you haven't two instances of pathfinder running in your processes.

Also my Win7 oddly interrupts my session at times asking me to change my color scheme to 'basic'. When the client loses focus it doesn't always regain a stable state and I must restart.

Sent an email 24 hours ago. No response. I know its the weekend. Kind of expected an automated we received your ticket response. Oh well maybe next weekend.

A thread titled "help" is the least effective way to get customer support. If this is really the way you want to do this it should say "alpha player needs help, hangs at loading screen" our something like that.

GW won't see these boards until 9 Pacific at the earliest.

They're more likely to check the customer service queue before checking the boards.
