Has anyone put all the exploration maps from the various books together as one large map? I'm just going to be starting my players into Varnhold Vanishing soon, so I need to figure out where that map goes in relation to the Greenbelt.
It doesn't have the icons on it, but try this.
It's a pretty big file so that it can be edited to your heart's content.
I've stitched iconless copies of the Greenbelt and Nomen Heights maps together, with a small amount of image processing to make the hexes join smoothly across the divide. You can grab the image here.
It's part of a web-based mapping tool (link) I developed and use in both the Kingmaker games I'm involved in. Click on the hexes to reveal the underlying map, drag icons from the panel on the left onto the map, click on the icons on the map to add labels. There are more options from the "menu" link, such as switching between different campaigns or saving the current map data to move it between machines. It works in Chrome, Safari and Firefox... not sure about IE or Opera, sorry.
When we play, we have a tablet on the table with a browser pointing at that page, and the players reveal hexes and add icons as they explore or are told about distant things.
You can also download a zip file (link) of the whole map webapp, which includes the above image (as well as separate iconless Greenbelt and Nomen Heights images). The app is 100% driven from local javascript, there's no server-side smarts at all, so you can copy the files to the local file system and open the html file directly.
My two cents worth. I have the full map stitched together from the first four modules. I use paint dot net (freeware) to create a layered map with borders on one layer icons on another roads on another and labels on another very easy to update. If you want the file message me.
