Should I dip into paladin levels with my Dawnflower Dervish bard?

I'm inexperienced in pfs style play and would appreciate input into wether or not to dip a couple of levels (2) into paladin, possibly divine Hunter (as I don't wear heavy armor anyway).I am currently 2nd lv as a Dawnflower dervish of Serenrae , with muse touch Aasimar as my race .
Stats:
Int:12
Str:10
Dex:18
Wis:10
Con:14
Cha:15.
I took arcane strike as my 1st feat .I won't be able to respond as I'm headed for work so thanks in advance for any advice .

The dip is well worth it in PFS. The big bads often have a save or die or save or you may as well go get a sandwhich because you're out of the fight spells that make the + to saves immesurably useful.

Inner sea combat has an enlightened defender archetype that seems to go amazingly well with a lightly armored swashbuckling type (i was just considering this for my kitsune swashbucker). Its too new to be on nethys and i don't own it to know what page its on to see if its legal though.

A dip into paladin would be nice. As would a dip into Swashbuckler, especially if you take the Dervish Dance feat.

As long as you are actually going to play a LAWFUL GOOD paladin, and not 'dip-and-forget', then it is very worthwhile. No one does 'hero' better than paladins, and I imagine that would apply to the quick and nimble types as well...

Is it this one? They're not quite compatible, as the bard archetype requires worship of Sarenrae, while the paladin archetype strongly implies worship of Irori, and you can only get mechanical benefits from one deity in PFS.

That looks like it. And drat

I too am a Muse-Touched Dawnflower Dervish Bard. I considered the Paladin dip myself, but came to the conclusion that the code was too hard to live by...

I shall continue to serve Sarenrae in my own way.

However, I am thinking strongly about acquiring some training as a Swashbuckler. Being able to parry & riposte would be nice.

Dipping two levels of paladin nets the average bard a +8 or so to his Fortitude save -- which he will sorely need if he's a melee fighter.
